Abstract: A characterisitic of historical-biographical mapping, its meaning and perspectives are given. Classification of different kinds of historical-biographical maps (HBM) in connection with the objects (personalities) of mapping is made. Additional elements (the possible attributes) of the HBM, which supplement the cartographic representation are pointed. The possibilities to enrich the HBM on the conditions of computer-aided mapping and to improve the visualization of the cartographic models are shown.
