Abstract: Slovak Association for Geoinformatics (SAGI) is a nongovernmental organisation which was established on 3rd June 2002. Its activities are focused on geoinformation, including geographical information systems, remote sensing and the other related fields. The most important bodies of association are general congress, chirmainship committe headed by a chaimiain and supervisory board. Members can participate in technical groups which will be aimed at various activities interconnected with geographical information.
