Digital photogrammetric cameras – the significant progress in quality of photogrammetric outputs

Kožuch, M.: Digital photogrammetric cameras – the significant progress in quality of photogrammetric outputs. Kartografické listy, 2011, 19, 2 figs., 1 tab., 18 refs.

Abstract: This article is devoted a new record type, which is being used in digital photogrammetry. The need for direct digital capture, in which the analogue aerial photograph as well as their photographic processing in a laboratory and digitizing on the photogrammetric scanners is excluded, it has led to the construction of digital cameras. The main problem at the beginning of replacing analogue cameras by digital ones, was the low geometric resolution of recorded images. The article talks about the advantages of direct digital capture and differences to an analogue sensing. Created record has a higher radiometric image quality, and higher spatial resolution than the digitized analogue aerial photographs. It describes digital image processing of area village Malženice.
