Abstract: Cadastral maps are stored at Cadastral Offices and some of them in Central Archive of Geodesy and Cartography. They are part of a cadastral documentation. Cadastral maps are currently digitized by a scanning technology, which allows conversion of map series from an analogue to a digital form. One of the main priorities of a ministry is a project Central System of Cadastre of Real Estate, which part will be include electronic services for management of a file of geodetic information and services for state and local administration and the public. In the project will be migrated raster maps with appropriate metadata to the database environment of Central System of Cadastre of Real Estate.This paper describes the issue of metadata of raster maps in relation with a variety of a cadastral documentation. The current state of metadata creation and the estimated timeline of processing all metadata of raster maps.
