Abstract: Within the framework of the creation of the Information system of the Projekt of Tatra national park natural environmental monitoring (IS MONTAN) which is a part of the Integrate information system on the environment of Slovak republic our department has been engaged in the creation of a digital data base for the above-mentioned Information system. In the contribution basic goals, methods and results of the project are drafted.
