Abstract: Landslides are one of the best-mapped natural hazards. They have been investigated by many scientists and many research teams. Based on these studies registers have been created in analogue form. Digital recording of data on landslides was processed by Geofond of the Czech Republic. However there are several topics (questions) to be mentioned while landslide database is used for landslide map production or landslide modelling — database structure (are all parameters of landslide involved in the database?), use for landslide modelling (are the parameters coded correctly for their modelling?) and use for landslide map production (which map can be created from the database?). The paper brings principal improvement of the landslide database structure to reach above-mentioned requirements.
