Abstract: The aim of the contribution is to present linearly hatched generated on regular screen as a kind of line hatching independent on the course of the boundary segments of area objects. The resulting product of this type of line hatching is in total 13 different independent patterns, suitable for cartographic representation of area objects of various thematic contents.
