Petrovič, F., Hurbánek, P.: The assessment of the secondary landscape structure using old maps in the cadastral area of the Skalica town. Kartografické listy, 2013, 21 (1).

Abstract: The current land use is the result of various causes, which are directly linked to the natural environment and the potential of natural resources and have their origin in the cultural, social and economic conditions of the previous period and the development of historical context. A clear example of such a development as a human activity leads to changes in the evolution of the secondary structure of the landscape is a cadastral area of the Skalica town. In this paper, we will focus on the development of changes in the secondary landscape structure of the current cadastral area for over 200 years, while at the same time try to characterize the current trends in the landscape.
