Abstract: Regional geomorphological research provides us with great amount geomorphological informations with we can use effectively in further research, protection and evaluation of landscapes. Specialized geomorphological GIS is amazingly advantageous both for storage and generation of the parts of these informations, as well as for their processing and visualization. The paper deals with using of such GIS in creation of digital geomorphological maps on the designed terrain in the form of final databases. On the number of digital maps it is shown how to select, complete and verify geomorphological informations in GIS context and how to process and apply them.
