Abstract: Basic geometrical parameters and relations of traditional projection of the area filling and its, here proposed, more exact way of projection are analyzed. Comparison of these two approaches to the creation of area filling is demonstrated by means of their planary contents. Comparison suggests adequacy of the use of presented new way of projection of area filling especially in the cases of projection of area objects of so-called binary map, where preciseness from the point of view of their graphic planary contents is required. Though the work is based on theoretical analysis of the problem, it can yet influence the practice.
