Abstract: This paper presents large-scale mapping and analyse of landscape structure and morphometric parameters (slope and orientation aspect) in Tatra high mountain landscape. For this purpose a set of aerial photographs scanning the study area are using and processing by GIS tools. The result is detailed analysis of relationship between landscape elements and relief. The most important result is large-scale map of Slavkovská valley (1:5,000) with detailed analysis of its elements.
