Abstract: Article is focused to familiarize cartographic community with Generic Mapping Tools software package (GMT). It is extensively used amongst geoscientists for high quality graphical outputs production in PostScript format. GMT software package allow access to individual modules through command line interface and represent an open-source alternative to commercial software used in cartography. Benefits of controlling software through command line interface can be valuable in multiple thematic map production based on the same background layer or in batch visualization of results in time of processing. In article we present visualization examples of geodetic measurements results in different scales with batch file scripts snippets used for their creation. We present possibilities of visualize point, line and surface data sets in different scales and cartographic projections.
