Abstract: Czech Association for Geoinformation (CAGI) gathers important specialists, firms, university departments and specialised scientific unions working in the field of geoinformatics in the Czech Republic. CAGI is in contact with foreign associations and takes part in international co-operation. CAGI supports mutual cooperation in geoinformatics, supports and organises seminars and conferences, supports access to information, knowledge and experience for its members and step-by-step has been started to prepare and fulfil important projects supporting further development of geoinformatics in the Czech Republic. Presented paper refers of some achieved results and expected further development.
