Abstract: The paper gives an overview of the most common map types used in a special category of demogeographical research, mainly spatial mobility of population. Compared to other results of demogeographical analyses, spatial mobility of population and its cartographic presentation is characterized by several specific features. Numerous examples from published atlases are outlined and applications of different cartographic methods are mentioned.
