Abstract: First part of the paper content cartographic theory consideration for one map semiotic theory construction. The topics of this theory are: 1. Map sign definition and specification of his attributes from cartographic and semiotic point of view as base elements for map theory and creation (theory of map imaging as way to describe map and map creation), 2. Specification of map language elements as alphabetic elements and rules and syntax rules (associative) for map creation. Some examples of the alphabetic elements and rules and syntax rules (associative) using and description in the hydrogeographic and climatogeographic map are presented in the second part of the article.
