Abstract: New www technologies can presented old map series from the territory of Slovakia for using in geographical information systems or simple imaging for average internet user. In according with EU initiative INSPIRE was started national geoportal (http://geoportal.sazp.sk) which presented not only historical maps but all accessible state map series from the territory of Slovakia. The main goal of this article is more approximation of these state map series for wider public using.
