Abstract: In this work we present a map web application for accessing interactive digital maps of the University forestry enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen. We proposed a geographical database into which we imported available thematic vector layers, raster digital terrain models, current and historical orthophotos. We created web map services in accordance with cartographic rules. Preparation of the geographic database, thematic layers and map services was conducted with the aid of ArcGIS for Desktop and the map application was implemented in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It includes features for displaying orthophotos, forestry thematic layers, digital terrain and digital surface models. The map application is used for the purposes of teaching, research and solving practical problems in forestry.
