Abstract: Article represents some feasibility of spatial analysis of geographical networks and distance characteristics in GIS environment. It evaluates procedures of implementation of traditional geographical, theoretical and methodical processes in analytical tools of selected geoinformatic technologies with application in transport and settlement systems.
