Abstract: The paper describes the cartographic application of results of landscape changes identification in four Phare countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovak Republic). Obtained results were used for creation eight maps of landscape changes: intensification of agriculture, extensification of agriculture, urbanisation/industrialisation, enlargement/exhaustion of natural resources, afforestation, deforestation and other anthropogenic causes – recultivations, dump sites, unclassified changes, etc.
